Yes, I do. Critics get into this line of work because they love movies, so there’s no reason not to go. And while occasionally something comes along that you dread seeing, the reminder that you’re getting paid to sit through it is enough motivation to bite the bullet. Besides, if a critic hasn’t seen the movie, I think people would see through that easily. You can’t write about something meaningfully if you haven’t actually been exposed to it.
